Another Tri-Fold Shutter Card

Using some of my favorite Doodlebug paper and a cutie Tilda stamp. Just want to point out one detail on the flower. My great scrapping friend Teresa gave me the idea of using jewelery spacer beads as an embellishment on th flowers...the brad slides right through the hole in the bead...just adds a neat deapth.

I'm on Facebook

and I finally figured out how to add a badge for it on my blog. So if you're on Facebook, check me out!

Going Lime Rickey!

I spent yesterday afternoon working on a 20-page Disney album with my sister (she and I have a good set-up : I design & cut paper, Laurie inks edges, glues pages together, mats & picks out photos, then I finish up by adhering photos & embellishing. We rocked-out 20 complete pages, plus another 20 that just need the photos and embellishments. It was great, and it totally got me inspired to start Eli's next scrapbook. Since I did his 1.5-3 year old pictures using Basic Grey's "Color Me Silly", I've decided that I'll do his 3.5-4 year old pictures using Basic Grey's "Lime Rickey". I've got all the supplies, now I just need to start working on the ablum. His first one is an ABC book in 8.5X11. I think I'll do another ABC album, but in 9X9.

Been so busy lately...

I haven't done much scrapping. June has past by us in a bit of blur -- I've kept busy by wrapping-up the school year with Eli and getting him ready for summer Pre-K, participating in Relay For Life, weekly play dates with Eli's buddy Masen, hanging out at the Races with family, getting rained out of a baseball game, movies, picnics, parties and who knows what else. I'm hoping that July slows down a bit and I can get back to scrapping and participating in my groups. Anyhoo, here are just a few random photos for ya...

Thank You Ms. Emily

Eli is just finishing his first year of Pre-K, so of course, we needed to make a little card to go along with our gift for Ms. Emily, who is the lead teacher in the "elephant" room.

Tri-Fold Shutter Card

This wasn't as hard to make as I originally anticipated, I was quite pleased with how it turned out. I used more of my favorite Doodlebug papers along with my new favorite Tilda (she's my favorite because she's holding a ladybug).

Chasing Doodlebugs...

I was so excited last week when I got my new Magnolia Stamps from the Chasing Butterflies collection that I had to use them as soon as possible! What was even better, I got a whole bunch of the cutey new stuff from Doodlebug, and it just seemed to go together prefectly! Inside I stamped "chase your happiness".

My Copics

A couple of fellow scrappers asked me what I color with - and here they are. I have these 36 colors along with a couple of Blenders, Black, Fruit Pink and Skin White. So far, these have been excellent for me. I prefer bolder and brighter colors. I'm also a big fan of the Gelly Roll Opaque White Pen and the Copic Spica At You sparkly markers.

Cutest Lil' Monkeys!

Okay, I'm a huge Rachelle Anne Miller fan and these lil' mokeys are just too darn cute! I used them to create some fun birthday cards using some older Basic Grey papers. I really like how they turned out. The photo doesn't do any sparkly justice though...

4X4 Tilda Cards

I don't know why, but I got on a kick for making 4X4 cards. Simple, easy and cute...
